Around the campsite, many villages, characteristic of Provence, will make you discover the traditions and knowledge of our region.

For more experienced hikers, it is possible to follow the GR6, a long-distance hiking trail which passes by the Pont du Gard. This trail offers panoramic views of the surrounding area and allows you to discover the villages and typical landscapes of the region.


Hikes around the Pont du Gard are a great way to discover this architectural marvel while enjoying the natural beauty of the area. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, there is something for all levels!

Around the campsite, many villages, characteristic of Provence, will help you discover the traditions and know-how of our region.
From the Saint-Bonnet-du-Gard fountain, take the GR 6 which will take you to the Pont du Gard. You can follow the remains of the aqueduct to Vers-Pont-du-Gard, known for its limestone rock, a building material that defies the ages.
Still leaving Pont du Gard, take the GR 63 and visit the medieval village of Castillon du Gard, perched on a limestone sandstone mound. The village has several architectural aspects: cobbled streets and gargoyles, the house of the ramparts…
Another village not to be missed: Rochefort du Gard. Indeed, high up on the rock, stands the Castelas, an old Romanesque chapel from the 12th century.
