This mountain bike loop is relatively athletic. It takes you on the many paths and tracks located around the Pont du Gard, passing by Collias, Argilliers and Vers-Pont-du-Gard, at the end of the course, a magnificient point of view on the bridge and the Gardon. Stay alert and respectful, pedestrians are numerous in season

VTT - MEDIUM - 33.7 km - 470 m

From La Sousta, the circuit does not give you too much time to warm up. Indeed after de 500 m you take the Roussières path. Quite narrow and rolling, it climbs for 2 km towards Saint-Bonnet-du-Gard. The climb continues towards the Lédenon racing circuit by a succession of small ascending and rising traces.

After a relatively flat passage on the road, you arrive at the intersection with the D3 to descend to Collias by the old path connecting Cabrières to Collias. Please note that this long descent is quite stony and steep in its lower part.
You then cross the Gardon via the Pont de Collias (below beautiful pebble beaches invite you to swim) to quietly reach Argilliers through fields and vineyards.

You continue with some sequences of monotraces around the quarries of Vers, which have been exploited for a long time, which were used by the Romans for the construction of the aqueduct which went from the fountain of Eure to Uzès until Nîmes, and to built the Pont du Gard.

At the exit of the village, the route takes you over the Pont du Gard. A stop is necessary to ejoy the point of view before go down on the Bridge.
